Designed for adventurous trips and explorers, the Venture sleeping pad delivers legendary NeoAir comfort to any camp. Built with our WaveCore construction, the 2.2 R-value pad creates cells of air that retain warmth and shield from the cold.

The two-inch (5cm) pad uses tough 50D polyester face is backcountry ready, giving you confidence during camping and backpacking adventures.

For comfort-conscious campers, we use stretch knit fabric for unrivaled support and superior next-to-skin feel.

The easy-to-pack Venture features the high-performance WingLock valve, allowing the pad to inflate three times faster thanks to a larger opening and one-way inflation.

Check the floor dimensions of your tent to see if they will accommodate the extra width of a NeoLoft pad. Lengthwise, every NeoLoft size will fit in the typical backpacking tent.

The floor dimensions of most 2-person backpacking tents are typically 50-52 in (127-132 cm) wide by 88-90 in (223-229 cm) long.

If your 2-person backpacking tent is 52 in (132 cm) wide, then it will fit two Regular Wides or two Longs, or one of each.

Great weight/ pack size. not "Great weight/ pack size. not flimsy. Not noisy like some of the competition. Inflation sack is actually faster than the oldskool thermarests, once you get the hang of it -even more so if you have a sideways breeze running. For my back, the neo air design is not too far off, but slightly less comfy than the old school self inflating thermarests. But totally worth it for the weight/size advantage."

It makes Noise! When Ever it is moved, shifts, layed upon, slept on, Touched! It Crinkles and Crackles like a bag of potato chips being Crunched up. I HATE IT!! When I sleep outside I crave Silence (except for the Night Sounds).

"I bought a NeoAir pad in 2011 for use on a cot during field exercises in the military. It is extremely comfortable, has a small size when deflated, and light weight. I still use it to this day. One of my all time best purchasing decisions. This is a quality product that is worth every penny." - William (5/5)

"20 veterans took off to hike the AT in March with this sleeping pad, 14 are still hiking, and not a single one has popped or leaked!" - Angela M. (5/5)

"I am a professional river guide and outdoor education teacher and therefore needed a durable but light pad that I could use many days of the year. This pad has been the perfect choice for me over the past 3 years. I have used in in Alpine environments, Spring, Summer, and Fall in both Canada and New Zealand and have never had an issue. It is a bit slow to inflate but once it is inflated it's good to go and never needs a top-up. If you are doing super cold weather camping or are a very sensitive sleeper, I could see this being too thin, but I have loved how compact, yet comfortable this pad is. Big YES from me!" - Simon (5/5)

"It Crinkles! ..."

Matériaux, fabrication et entretien

Like all Therm-a-Rest pads, the NeoAir Venture is made in market to ensure quality and minimize environmental impact.

Solution-dyed fabric uses pre-dyed fibers to minimize the water and energy required to color the fabric. This means that color, or pigment, is added to the material producing the completed fabric.

Every piece of Therm-a-Rest gear is designed to endure the rigors of your time in the backcountry.

We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all products, except electronic devices, which have a 2-year Limited Warranty.

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase.

Self-Inflating: We recommend storing the mattress unrolled and fully inflated in a dry place with the valve open. This will ensure the foam self-inflates faster when camping.

Regular cleaning will extend the life of your mattress, especially if you sleep in direct contact with its surface.

Do not put your mattress in the washing machine. Cleaning with a hose or in a bathtub is best. Do not forget to close the valve while washing.

In freezing conditions, avoid breath inflating your self-inflating pad. The moisture from your breath can freeze inside the mattress.

The mattress may self-inflate slower in cold weather.

Self-inflating sleeping pads rely on the compressible and rebound-able open cell foam cores to self-inflate.

The atmospheric pressure around the pad pushes air into the rebounding open cells when the valve is opened.

Generally, it takes 5-15 minutes for any of our self-inflating pads to inflate on their own.

That 10-minute variance range is probably due to one of the following factors: core construction, trained compression, elevation and temperature.

We find the most significant factor is trained compression (i.e. if your pad is new and has been factory rolled on the shelf for some time or stored rolled up for a few months).

Self-inflation begins when the valve is opened and ends when equilibrium is reached between the atmospheric pressure outside the cells and the air pressure within the cells pushing the other way.

If you think that your NeoAir or self-inflating sleeping pad are losing air, it’s possible that you have a puncture in your pad.
